Adding freshwater prawn to your aquaponic system.

Grow Dinner Aquaponics

Here is an example of using crayfish to provide additional water purification in an aquaponic system.

There are several ways to approach this and as you will hear in an upcoming podcast, I am quickly becoming a fan of colder water fish for both food safety and economic reasons.

I am also of the mindset that there are better options than prawn in the way of crayfish selection.

On a positive note about this system, it is nice to see someone design and build a utilitarian system that is also attractive and could be in any suburban yard.
