This weeks podcast is with the executive director of an organization that uses local food, yoga and gardening as teaching tools to guide individuals and the community towards a more sustainable life.

Or in the words of their website, Growing Places is

“Cultivating wellness through urban agriculture, food access and awareness and practices for living well by empowering individuals and communities to Grow Well, Eat Well, Live Well and Be Well.”

As Laura tells us in the interview, Growing places has several garden sites, a CSA, a you pick garden, the winter farmers market in Indianapolis and several other wellness initiatives in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Listen to the podcast to learn more and if we don’t cover what you want to know (or if you would like to get involved with them), check out their website at Growing Places Indy.
