DIYFS Podcast #26- Interview with Corey and Erin Hall from Naptown Nigerians

Todays very belated podcast is an interview I did with Erin and Corey Hall of Naptown Nigerians and the Saturated Market Goats Milk Soap Company. This interview runs a little on the long side, but if you ever wanted to know the ins and outs of raising goats, and especially Nigerian Dwarfs. this interview is a great place for you to start.

We discuss everything, from basic care to medical treatment, goat housing, breeding, purchasing of livestock, show vs ranch goats, dairy versus meat goats, zoning issues associated with keeping these adorable beasts, feed requirements and the many products that can be produced from goats milk. Oops, we actually missed that one due to running long, but you can look forward to a future show just about dairy products that can be home crafted from goats milk in the near future.

If this information whets your appetite, be sure to check out the Naptown Nigerian Blog, and if you aren’t quite the do it yourselfer but still want some goats milk products, be sure to shop for them at the Saturated Market online store.

Enjoy the show.
